Position Summary: The Certified Nurse Assistant is responsible for providing personal care to the patients under the supervision of the Charge Nurse.  Personal care includes assistance with meals, dressing, movement, and bathing.  The CNA follows established facility policies and procedures while providing care and coordinates patient care with other facility personnel and families. Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Provides or assists in bathing, grooming, toileting, and/or showering, while ensuring privacy and safety and encouraging independence.
  2. Makes beds, straightens rooms, and keeps patient care areas in an organized and clean manner, ensuring the entire nursing floor is kept orderly and demonstrating pride in the facility.
  3. Respects patient’s rights by knocking on doors before entering, addressing patients by name with the appropriate title, allowing/encouraging patients to make their own decisions when appropriate
  4. Provides safe patient transfers involving bed, wheelchair, and/or shower chair, uses the gait belt, walker, or mechanical lift with all transfers. Protects patients from complications and injuries
  5. Takes and records temperature, pulse, and respiration as required.
  6. Sets up meal trays and assists with feeding when necessary. Assesses for choking and responds appropriately.
  7. Ensures patients and equipment are clean after meals, including hands, and removes adult clothing protectors.
  8. Accurately documents care given to patients including the documentation of reportable problems (ADL sheets, meal percentages, I&O, skin breakdown etc)
  9. Reports changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse and/or Director of Nurses immediately (changes in skin conditions, urinary changes etc.).
  10. Demonstrates flexibility with changing work demands.
  11. Reports to the Charge Nurse equipment and supply needs, repair/maintenance needs, safety hazards and unusual occurrences or observations.
  12. Assists the nursing department and other departments as required in other duties.
  13. Provides appropriate interventions for patients per care plan, utilizes distraction and validation techniques as appropriate and encourages patient independence.
  14. Assists patients to and from activities of choice and encourages the patient to participate in activities.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Graduate of a Certified Nurses Aide Course or currently enrolled in approved CNA training with intent to complete course in specified time frame of offered course with successful completion of competency evaluation.

Job Summary The house supervisor administers, plans, directs, and coordinates nursing service functions and activities for the Nursing Departments.  Responsible for the recommendation, development, and implementation of policies and procedures in these areas, and for keeping the Director of Inpatient or CNO informed of progress and potential problems.  Maintains and promotes collaboration with other service areas, and serves as on-campus Administration in the absence of the Administration. Primary Job Responsibilities
  1. Receives every shift updates on the condition of each patient. Ensures notification of the physician of major changes.
  2. Supervises and directs all nursing care given to patients of Memorial Hospital.
  3. Responds to emergency and/or code situations and delegates appropriate actions. Implements internal/external disaster, fire, tornado, and bomb plans as needed.
  4. Administers direct patient. Relieves the nurses working in these departments for breaks and meals.

  • Mixing IV drips that are not standard mix concentrations.

  • Restocking Omnicell if needed
  • Calling On-call Pharmacy as needed
  • Restocking Crash carts and emergency medicines as needed.
  • Changing pharmacies for patients at discharge when pharmacies are closed.
  1. Swing Bed Patients:
  • Assess transfer documents for appropriateness of admission when social services/administration staff unavailable
  • Assign bed and staff as patients accepted and arrive
  • Enter all admission orders when admitting physicians not available
  • Perform medication reconciliation from receiving hospital
  • Obtain/Assist attending RN to obtain medications for patients if pharmacy unavailable
  • Assist with admission process
  1. Trouble-Shooter:
  • Answer all phone call questions
  • Taking orders from off-site physicians, putting them into Epic, and carrying them out.
  • Making arrangements for medical equipment, home health, hospice, oxygen, medication, pick up, etc., for discharges on weekends or off hours when social services isn’t available.
  • Round with attending physicians as needed
  • Round with consulting physicians as needed
  • Round with covering physicians, assisting them with order entry, admission and discharge procedures.
  1. Troubleshooting computer problems:
  2. Epic order entry and problems with access
  3. Troubleshooting Omnicell, and assisting staff with obtaining medications
  4. Computer failure and downtime: managing to switch form computer to paper, locating paper charts, supplies; assisting departments in patient care and documentation, running slips and reports and orders to lab and radiology

Primary Job Responsibilities
  1. Perform a variety of skin care treatments including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and other specialized services.
  2. Conduct skin analysis to determine the most appropriate treatments for each client.
  3. Recommend skin care routines and products tailored to individual client needs.
  4. Provide waxing and other hair removal services.
  5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the latest skin care techniques, products, and trends.
  6. Ensure the treatment room is clean, well-organized, and fully stocked with necessary products and supplies.
  7. Maintain a high level of professionalism and courtesy with clients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
  8. Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards required by the MedSpa and governing regulations.
  9. Upsell services and products to meet client needs and maximize revenue for the business.
  10. Keep detailed records of treatments and client progress in Aesthetics Pro.
  11. Participate in promotional and educational events to showcase services and build client loyalty.
Required Qualifications
  • Valid state esthetician license.
  • Proven experience as an esthetician in a spa or clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of skin care products, treatments, and the ability to address various skin concerns.
  • Ability to perform various skin care treatments and services such as facials, exfoliation, extractions, and body treatments.
  • Familiarity with waxing, tinting, and hair removal techniques.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (as required).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Sales experience in a spa or clinical setting
  • Certification in advanced esthetic procedures such as chemical peels, dermaplaning, or laser treatments.
  • Experience with medical-grade skin care products and treatments.
Physical and Environmental Demands
  • Ability to stand for long periods during treatments.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is a clinical practitioner who assesses the need for, coordinates, problem solves, implements and evaluates patient care.  He/She communicates effectively with all providers and staff.  He/She ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner consistent with the unit’s standard of care. He/She demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the unit and organization; remains flexible to a changing system, is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice; and treats staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect.  Acts as a patient advocate at all times. Primary Job Responsibilities:
  1. Triages emergency room patients according to emergent, urgent, or non-urgent.
  2. Prepares clinic patients for appropriate physician exam and assist physicians with patients
  3. Obtains and records initial assessment and establishes priorities according to patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
  4. Implements CPSI order entry for ancillary testing as required and monitor for the return of results.
  5. Re-assesses the patients systematically to identify progress and trends that require intervention, informing physician of any change in patient condition.
  6. Interprets all diagnostic tests and treatments and prompt notification of physician of abnormal results.
  7. Develops and implements a measurable individualized plan of care for the patient within the time frame established by Nursing Standards of Care.
  8. Makes comprehensive nursing decisions based on the interpretation of facts and evaluations of patient outcome; modifies the plan of care based on the evaluations.
  9. Utilizes chest pain and TIA/Brain attack pathway as evidenced on patient record.
  10. Utilizes problem sheets for ongoing patient problems.
  11. Participates in patient/significant other health education and discharge planning.
  12. Implements and documents timely interventions appropriate to patient needs.
  13. Completes all treatment in a timely manner.
  14. Is knowledgeable of all medications given, administers all medication promptly and documents appropriately. Uses the appropriate forms to document evaluation of all treatments and medications.
  15. Assesses and reassess their patient’ level of pain, providing effective treatment and the necessary education for follow-up care.
  16. Utilizes patient discharge instructions.
  17. Delegates unit work assignments appropriately to ensure completion of required patient care support activities.
  18. Coordinates team assignments and makes adjustments based upon patient and unit needs; follows up on delegated patient care tasks for quality and completeness.
  19. Utilizes the appropriate chain of command for resolution of difficult issues.
  20. Acts as a resource nurse for the ER/OP department.
  21. Performs other duties as signed or requested.
Job Specifications:  Education Requirements:
  1. Current Licensure in Illinois as a Registered Nurse.
  2. ACLS required
  3. PALS required.
  4. Prior critical care experience or an approved course highly preferred.
