APPLY TODAY!The Medical Assistant/X-Ray Technologist helps providers with the delivery of patient care, providing x-ray radiological services in a primary care and orthopedic clinical office setting. In addition the medical assistant/X-ray technologist will provide basic triage patient care, front desk duties, providing safe and supportive administrative and clinical patient care for providers ensuring excellent patient care. Provides health care services, applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Performs radiographic procedures on patients from newborn through geriatric. To assist the primary provider in all professional and clinical procedures. Clinical procedures shall include phlebotomy, performing EKGs, urinalysis, and taking and recording patient vital signs. He/she demonstrated performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the unit and organization; remains flexible to changing system; is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice; and treats staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect. He/she ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the clinic’s standards of care. |
