This individual will assist the Controller in directing the accounting functions. These functions include establishing and maintaining the organization’s accounting principles, practices, and procedures. He/she will oversee the preparation and evaluations of budgets and other financial operating reports. The person who holds this position must be familiar with a variety of accounting concepts, practices, and procedures and will be relied on to use their extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish financial goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
A few of the specific duties include:
- Prepares bi-weekly payroll and all payroll tax reports.
- Assist with the preparation of month-end and yearend financial reports.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc financial analysis information.
- Assist with financial audits and cost report preparation.
- Prepares information for the annual budget process.
- Provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
B.S. Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is required. 3 years plus experience preferred.
Hours: Full-Time position; Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
