 NO VISITORS AT THIS TIME

Due to the growing number of COVID-19 cases in the state and region, and as a proactive plan to reduce the risk of transmission to protect patients, employees and the public, Memorial Hospital in Carthage, Illinois will have more stringent visitor restrictions effective immediately.

No visitors will be allowed at this time.

Exceptions are as follows:

  • The significant other of a woman in labor (one visitor only)
  • The parent or guardian of a minor who is a patient (one visitor only)
  • A support person for a patient with a diagnosed cognitive disorder, such as dementia
  • Patient on end-of-life services

Visitor restrictions are temporary and subject to change as necessary.

While we are committed to providing a family-centered care environment, right now restricting visitors is in the best interest of our patients, employees, and community.

At this time, there are no confirmed cases in Hancock County at this time. If you have symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath), call the Illness Clinic at 217-357-0617.
