Additional Information:
I was born and raised in Hancock County, moving from Warsaw to Carthage around the age of four. I graduated from Illini West High School in 2015. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Western Illinois University in 2018 and my Master of Science in Speech Pathology from WIU in 2020. I completed clinicals in area schools (Colchester-north and south, VIT) as well as a medical internship at Blessing Hospital in ICU, acute care, inpatient rehab, and outpatient rehab. I began working as an SLP in McDonough District Hospital in Macomb in June 2020 where I gained experience in acute care, outpatient pediatrics and adults, assisted living, and home healthcare. I am very excited to bring my clinical experience to the Carthage area and provide a new service line to our community.
As a speech-language pathologist, I believe communication is one of the most powerful tools we have for connecting with others and navigating the world around us. I am privileged to work with individuals across the lifespan – from children developing their first words to adults overcoming communication, cognitive, and swallowing challenges. I am dedicated to assisting individuals reach their unique goals through compassionate, patient-centered care. By building strong relationships with patients and family members, I strive to create a supportive environment where each person feels heard, valued, and empowered to reach their fullest potential.
