Additional Information:
I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a strong foundation in family practice and a passion for supporting mental health across the lifespan, with a primary focus on children and adolescents while also caring for adults. My background as a Family Nurse Practitioner allows me to approach mental health through a comprehensive lens, understanding the complex connections between physical health, emotional well-being, family systems, and life experiences.
I believe in treating patients as whole people rather than labels or diagnoses. My approach to care is holistic, collaborative, and trauma-informed, emphasizing individualized treatment plans that respect each person’s unique strengths, challenges, and goals. I strive to build trusting relationships with patients and families, recognizing that healing often happens within the context of connection, understanding, and support.
My goal is to help patients feel seen, supported, and empowered as they navigate their mental health journey, while working alongside families and other providers to promote long-term wellness and resilience.
My mission as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is to provide compassionate, holistic, and evidence-based mental health care that honors the whole person—not just a diagnosis. Drawing on my background as a Family Nurse Practitioner, I integrate medical, psychological, developmental, and family perspectives to support children, adolescents, and adults in achieving emotional wellness. I am committed to creating a safe, collaborative, and respectful space where individuals and families feel heard, understood, and empowered in their care.
