July 2, 2026 Memorial Hospital

Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome Ann McCombs, DO, DNM, to the Memorial Institute of Health & Healing, where she will continue the clinic’s mission of providing compassionate, patient-centered integrative care.

Dr. McCombs brings nearly 37 years of experience in osteopathic and integrative medicine, caring for patients from infancy through older adulthood. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to helping patients move beyond symptom management by identifying the underlying causes of illness and developing personalized treatment plans that support long-term health and wellness.

As an osteopathic physician, Dr. McCombs believes that every patient is unique and that healing happens best when care addresses the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. Her clinical interests include family medicine, integrative medicine, nutrition, osteopathic manipulative therapy, chronic pain management, and the treatment of complex and chronic health conditions.

“One of the things I love most about medicine is helping patients understand their health story,” said Dr. McCombs. “When people feel heard, respected, and involved in their care, healing becomes a partnership.”

Dr. McCombs earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific and has completed extensive advanced training in holistic medicine, family medicine, pain management, nutrition, and integrative therapies. She is a founding diplomate of the American Board of Holistic Medicine and has spent much of her professional career building and leading integrative medical practices focused on individualized care.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. McCombs has served as an educator, mentor, author, and advocate for whole-person medicine. Outside of the clinic, Dr. McCombs enjoys spending time in nature, exploring the arts, writing, and working on projects that promote health and healing.

Patients can expect Dr. McCombs to take the time to listen, understand their concerns, and collaborate to create care plans that align with their goals and values. Her approach combines evidence-based medicine with integrative therapies that support overall well-being and quality of life.

We are excited to welcome Dr. McCombs to Memorial Hospital and the Memorial Institute of Health & Healing. She will begin seeing patients at the Memorial Institute of Health & Healing, located at 1450 North County Road 2050 in Carthage.
