Memorial Hospital invites community members to attend a free Lunch & Learn presentation, “Comprehensive Gynecologic and Obstetric Care at Every Stage of Life,” on Wednesday, August 19, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Nauvoo Community Center, 1440 Mulholland, Nauvoo, Illinois.
The educational event will be presented by Dr. Chris Jones, who will discuss the importance of routine gynecologic and obstetric care, preventive screenings, available treatment options, and the services available to support gynecologic and obstetric health at every stage of life.
During the approximately 20-minute presentation, attendees will gain a better understanding of the role preventive care plays in maintaining long-term health, learn about treatment options for a range of gynecologic and obstetric needs, and discover local resources to support lifelong health and wellness. Following the presentation, Dr. Jones will host a 30-minute question-and-answer session, providing attendees with the opportunity to ask questions in an open, welcoming environment.
“Preventive care and education are essential to helping people make informed decisions about their health,” said Dr. Jones. “This presentation is designed to help attendees better understand the care available to them, encourage routine healthcare, and provide an opportunity to connect with a local provider in a comfortable setting.”
The Lunch & Learn is open to anyone interested in learning more about gynecologic and obstetric care, preventive health, pregnancy care, and the healthcare services available at Memorial Medical Clinics. Family members, caregivers, and anyone supporting a loved one are also encouraged to attend.
Lunch will be provided for registered attendees.
