Memorial Hospital is proud to announce that Kayce Fuhrman, Registered Nurse, has earned her Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) credential, a nationally recognized certification that demonstrates advanced knowledge and expertise in diabetes education and care. Fuhrman is the Director of Diabetes Services at Memorial Hospital.

The CDCES credential reflects a strong commitment to excellence in helping individuals manage diabetes through education, support, and evidence-based care. In her role at Memorial Hospital, Fuhrman works closely with patients to help them better understand their condition, navigate diabetes technology, and make meaningful lifestyle changes that support long-term health.

Fuhrman holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University and an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Southwest Baptist University. Her clinical interests include diabetes technology, where she focuses on empowering patients to confidently use tools that support better glucose management and improved quality of life.

“I am passionate about helping others improve their health so that they can feel better and engage in activities that bring them joy and fulfillment,” Fuhrman said. “I believe in meeting people where they are and collaborating to find ways to enhance their well-being.”

Outside of her clinical work, Fuhrman enjoys travel, reading, exercise, and community service—interests that reflect her dedication to personal growth and community connection.
