Memorial Hospital is proud to be recognized as one of only 16 hospitals in Illinois to earn a 5-star rating for Nurse Communication in the latest Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey results. This distinction places Memorial Hospital among the top-performing hospitals in the nation, ranking in the top 10% nationally for nurse communication.
The data, collected between July 2024 and June 2025 and released by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) on May 15, 2026, was highlighted by Becker’s Healthcare in its list of hospitals receiving 5-star ratings for nurse communication. These results reflect how well patients felt their nurses explained things clearly, listened carefully, and treated them with courtesy and respect throughout their hospital stay.
This achievement is a testament to Memorial Hospital’s mission of delivering exceptional care by providing the right care, at the right time, in the right setting, at the right cost, and with the best possible outcome.
