Memorial Hospital Announces Spring “Protein Energy Bites of the Month” Classes
February 17, 2026 Memorial Hospital

Memorial Hospital invites the community to roll up their sleeves and join Jennifer Soucie, Memorial Hospital Registered Dietitian, for a fun and flavorful series in the Health & Wellness Teaching Kitchen: Protein Energy Bites of the Month: March, April, May.

These hands-on classes center around making two varieties of protein-packed energy bites each month while exploring the health benefits of the nutritious ingredients used in every recipe. Participants will not only prepare delicious treats, but also learn how simple, wholesome ingredients can support sustained energy, balanced nutrition, and overall well-being.

Each month features exciting flavor options:

  • March 11: Thin Mint and/or Cookie Dough
  • April 1: Cinnamon Vanilla Breakfast and/or Monster
  • May 6: White Chocolate with Cranberry & Blueberry and/or Cookie Dough

Classes will be held on Wednesdays from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM in Memorial Hospital’s Health & Wellness Teaching Kitchen located at 1454 N. Co. Rd. 2050, Carthage IL 62321. Participants can choose to make one or both flavors of the month on the online registration form. Class is limited to 10 participants ages 18 and older.

Whether you are looking for a quick breakfast option, a healthy snack, or a better-for-you sweet treat, these energy bites offer something for everyone. Participants will register for each month’s class separately. Registration is open now. To learn more or register, visit our Teaching Kitchen page or call 217-357-6540.
