MEMORIAL HOSPITAL ANNOUNCES REVAMPED NEW BEGINNINGS PROGRAM FOR WEIGHT MANAGEMENT & HEART HEALTH
April 9, 2025 Memorial Hospital

Memorial Hospital’s Health & Wellness Center is excited to announce the revised New Beginnings program, designed to provide individuals with the guidance, tools, and support needed for long-term healthy lifestyle changes. Whether focusing on weight loss or heart health, New Beginnings offers accessible, Medicare-accepted resources to help participants achieve their goals.

New Beginnings Weight Loss Program

This program is tailored for individuals with a BMI over 30 who are ready to embark on a journey toward better health. Participants meet regularly with a Registered Dietitian—virtually or in person—to receive expert coaching and support. Medicare is accepted for those who qualify with a referral from your provider.

New Beginnings Heart Health Program

For those looking to improve heart health, Intensive Behavioral Therapy (IBT) offers one Medicare-covered session per year with a Registered Dietitian. Additional sessions may be available depending on coverage. IBT focuses on diet and lifestyle changes that have been proven to lower heart disease risks and promote long-term wellness. The Heart Health Program is available to ALL Medicare beneficiaries with a referral from your provider.
