Annual Campaign 2016 – Outdoor Fitness Park

Outdoor Fitness Park

Your Route to Health & Wellness

Our beautiful lake area provides fitness opportunities for our staff, patients, and community members along with a peaceful place to enjoy the outdoors. The park, along with the Evans Fitness Path, is open and free to the public. The park has equipment designed for upper and lower body as well as core exercises. The equipment can also be used for patients who might be recovering from surgery or undergoing physical therapy.

Memorial Hospital Foundation is funding the fitness park with its annual campaign known this year as “Your Route to Health and Wellness.” In honor of the hospital’s 66th Anniversary, this year’s goal is $66,000. Giving opportunities include landscaping, fitness equipment, and future projects.

The park has nine pieces of exercise equipment, including three pieces that are handicap accessible. All the equipment and benches are housed under a pavillion which offers shade and a beautiful place to exercise and enjoy the view of the lake. To view a demonstration video of the equipment at the fitness park visit our www.facebook.com/MemorialHospitalFoundation.
