CORRECTION FROM UNITEDHEALTHCARE: MEMORIAL HOSPITAL AND MEMORIAL MEDICAL CLINICS REMAIN IN-NETWORK

Memorial Hospital and Memorial Medical Clinics want to reassure patients and community members that we remain in-network with UnitedHealthcare despite a recent mailing error.

Earlier this month, UnitedHealthcare (UHC) issued letters to some members incorrectly stating that Memorial Hospital and Memorial Medical Clinics would no longer be part of UHC’s provider network as of May 1, 2025. These letters were sent in error. UHC has since acknowledged the mistake and has mailed a rescinded letter to correct the misinformation.

“We understand that this notice caused concern for many of our patients and their families,” said Rena Willey, Executive Director of Revenue Cycle. “We are pleased to confirm that Memorial Hospital and Memorial Medical Clinics continue to be in-network with UnitedHealthcare. Our patients can continue receiving care without interruption.”
