Memorial Hospital invites families and individuals of all ages to kick off Independence Day with energy and enthusiasm at the FOCUS Fitness Family Fun Run/Walk on Friday, July 4, 2025! The event starts at 8:00 a.m., with check-in beginning promptly at 7:30 a.m. at FOCUS Fitness located at 103 Randolph St, Carthage, IL 62321.
This festive, family-friendly event emphasizes movement, health, and happiness—with no chip timing or pressure to compete. Whether you choose to run, walk, skip, or stroll, all are welcome to participate in this celebration of community wellness. The distance is 5K (approximately 3.2 miles), beginning and ending at FOCUS Fitness.
Registration is just $15 per person, which includes entry to the event and a FOCUS Fitness runner’s hat—available to the first 100 registrants. Same-day registration will be available for $20, but hats are limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Children riding in a stroller do not need to register.
