Job Summary: Coordinates and manages the Accounting Functions of Memorial Hospital and associated entities.  Prepares various financial reports and works closely with Fiscal Service employees as well as all other departments when it comes to matters of the organizations finances.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  1. Demonstrates commitment to the philosophy of MH to continuously improve our performance to those we serve.
  2. Exhibits professionalism in personal appearance and conduct.
  3. Coordinates and manages the Accounting Department following established policies and procedures.
  4. Prepares monthly journal entries for Hospital and HCSS.
  5. Analyzes General Ledger accounts for accuracy.
  6. Prepares monthly statistics for hospital and HCSS.
  7. Prepares monthly financial report for Hospital and HCSS.
  8. Finalizes 941 Quarterly Reports for Hospital and HCSS.
  9. Reconciles 941 Quarterly Reports and W-2 information for the Hospital and HCSS.
  10. Assists the CFO with any and all functions assigned.
  11. Responsible for fixed asset addition update.
  12. Responsible for audit work papers and preparation of preliminary audit work.
  13. Plays an important role in annual budget process.
  14. Oversees payroll functions.

This is a clinical practitioner who participates in providing patient care. Acts as a patient advocate at all times. To assist the primary provider in all professional and clinical procedures. Respiratory Therapist

Description

Would be responsible for activities involving respiratory care, pulmonary functions, nebulizer treatments, BIPAP, etc.  EKG's, assisting with stress tests and cardiac/pulmonary rehab.

This position is part time and will work every other weekend.  Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., taking call during the p.m. hours from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m on the Saturday and Sunday.

This position would also be PRN and would fill in for vacations.

Surgery Technician

Job Summary:

 

Responsible for assisting in the implementation of delegated patient care activities and preparation of the surgical patient under the direct supervision of the perioperative registered nurse.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  1. Assists the surgeon as a scrub technician and is prepared with the proper equipment and instruments for the procedure.
  2. Assists the circulating nurse as needed.
  3. Assists in housekeeping duties of the department as directed to ensure safe patient environment.
  4. Assists in the transportation of surgical patients to and from the surgical suite as needed.
  5. Assists in maintenance, care and processing of surgical instruments, equipment and supplies.
  6. Responsible to take “leave word” hours for the surgery department in case of emergencies on off hours.
  7. Assists in the surgery scheduling process for the department.
