Monitor the coding and charging of all clinic procedures for appropriateness and reviews accounts for compliance with Federal and State billing requirements to payers.

Maintain the Epic work ques including claim edits and charge review so that accounts are billed within 4 business days.

This position is full time Monday through Thursday 10 hours per day in the ER dept.

Job Summary:

Interviews and registers patients for hospital admittance, outpatient procedures, and emergency services either in person or on the phone for pre-registration.  Obtains all applicable medical, demographic, and payment source information to enable the Hospital to appropriately treat the patient, bill the proper payers, and comply with Federal and State regulations.

Job Summary:

Responsible for the supervision of the Clinical Team Leads and the Patient Care Service Manager of the

Memorial Medical Clinics. The Director of Clinical Operations  will meet/exceed the organizations goals and objectives related to the day to day operations of the medical clinics.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

1.  Select, mentor, motivate and direct development and evaluation of the Clinic Team Leads in support of the Clinical Team.   The Director of Clinical Operations will team leads in the orientation and evaluation of the  performance  of clinic teams and make recommendations  for personnel actions of the MMC clinical staff.

2.  The Director of Clinical Operations in conjunction with the Patient Service Coordinator will Plan, organize and direct health services and operations for the MMC locations, insures that goals, objectives and work performed are consistent with standards and quality care is provided to patients in a patient care team lead model.

3.  The Director of Clinical Operations will provide oversight and guidance for the implementation of ACO benchmarks and to help facilitate the launch of the Chronic Care Coordinator efforts of the Chronic Care Coordinator.

4.  The Director of Clinical Operations will provider overall guidance and direction as it pertains to Rural

Health Regulations and Joint Commission Requirements.

5.  Responsible for the oversight of day to day clinical operations as reported by the clinic team lead as it pertains to scheduling of the clinical teams to maintain a productive and profitable work day for all of the Memorial Medical Clinic locations.

6.  Establishes and tracks quality improvement indicators in conjunction with team leads and the Patient

Care Service Manager and other information concerning services and care to insure that resources are available to provide quality services and on-time performance.

7.  Devise health related educational programs for clinical and non-clinical staff in collaboration with the

Director of Education at Memorial Hospital.

8.  Participates in the annual business planning and budget process with responsibility for review and
