RADIOLOGICAL TECHNOLOGIST
WEEKEND 16-24 HOURS PER WEEK AND CALL
CT EXPERIENCE PREFERRED AND ULTRASOUND EXPERIENCE WOULD BE DESIRABLE.
IEMA AND ARRT LICENSE REQUIRED.

PART-TIME OR/PACU REGISTERED NURSE
The Registered Nurse is a clinical practitioner who assesses, coordinates, implements and evaluates patient care specific to the age of the patient population served from newborn to the elderly. He/she ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit’s standards of care. He/she demonstrated performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the unit and organization; remains flexible to changing system; is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice; and treats staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect. Acts as a patient advocate at all times.

Education Requirements:
1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
2. Currently licensed to practice nursing in the State of Illinois.
3. Maintains a ACLS and BLS Certification.
4. Minimum of 1 year experience Med/Surg preferred; previous OR experience preferred.

Pertinent Skills Required:
1. Current knowledge of Performance Improvement Program.
2. Verbal and written skills.
3. Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age/type of patient population served.
4. Current knowledge and skills appropriate to telemetry and EKG interpretation.
5. Knowledge and sensitive to patients’ rights to the delivery of care.
6. Knowledgeable in the duties of OR circulating RN, Scrub Technician, PACU RN, and Central Supply Technicians.
7. Knowledgeable in pre-op education procedures.
This is a part-time 24 hour per week position. Mondays and Tuesdays and either Wednesday or Thursday must be able to take full time call.

SURGERY TECHNICIAN
Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting in the implementation of delegated patient care activities and preparation of the surgical patient under the direct supervision of the perioperative registered nurse.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
1. Assists the surgeon as a scrub technician and is prepared with the proper equipment and instruments for the procedure.
2. Assists the circulating nurse as needed.
3. Assists in housekeeping duties of the department as directed to ensure safe patient environment.
4. Assists in the transportation of surgical patients to and from the surgical suite as needed.
5. Assists in maintenance, care and processing of surgical instruments, equipment and supplies.
6. Responsible to take “leave word” hours for the surgery department in case of emergencies on off hours.
7. Assists in the surgery scheduling process for the department.
Education Requirements:
1. Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technologists.
2. Current BLS certification.

Assist the primary provider in all professional and clinical procedures. Clinical procedures shall include phlebotomy, performing EKG’s, urinalysis, injections, and taking and recording patient vital signs.
