ABOUT THE PROGRAM

All About Me is a lifestyle intervention program that implements small lifestyle changes to produce big results and reduce risk of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, and type II diabetes.


All About Me focuses on diet changes and increased activity to lower weight and reduce risk for chronic disease.

Risk factors include:

  • Being 40 or older
  • Being male
  • Diagnosis of high cholesterol
  • Family history of high blood pressure or diabetes
  • High blood pressure
  • Lack of physical activity
  • High body mass index

All About Me lifestyle intervention program consists of a year-long commitment, meeting once a week for 16 weeks and then once monthly for the remaining 8 months.

This program consists of:

  • Weekly meetings for 16 weeks
  • Monthly meeting for the next 8 months
  • Private weigh-ins at each meeting
  • Food and activity monitoring
  • Increase daily physical activity within ability

Each meeting is facilitated by a certified lifestyle coach. Classes are group-based, allowing participants to learn, laugh, and share experiences together.

SESSIONS WILL BE HELD IN COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT THE REGION.
