Description

Two bed sleep lab that performs diagnostic and titration studies.

We would consider a Respiratory Therapist who could perform 1 to 2 nights of sleep study per week, then work days in Cardiopulmonary 1 - 2 days doing respiratory therapy duties.  This position would work every 4th weekend with 1 - 2 days of call per week.

Description

To manage and direct all aspects of a foodservice operation serving an elderly population living in a supportive and assisted living community

 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

1.      Interviews tenants and family members of the community to discuss the meal service and determine special needs as applicable.

2.      Provides basic nutrition education related to specific disease conditions and allergies as identified by the registered dietitian.

3.      Completes appropriate progress notes in the medical record of interaction with tenants.

4.      Completes meal observations daily and plate waste studies on a regular basis.

5.      Reviews and develops menus for daily and special event meals using a menu program and independently in compliance with applicable regulations.

6.      Conducts inventory and prepares orders to obtain adequate supplies preparation of daily menu in each community.

7.      Conducts routine meetings and in-service education with staff to enhance knowledge and promote a positive working environment

8.      Reviews recipes and production methods for preservation of nutritional value, safety and presentation.

Description

Two positions open - 1 being a float position that would float between all clinic locations.

This is a clinical practitioner who participates in providing patient care. He/she is able to implement and evaluate patient care specific to the age of the patient population served from newborn to the elderly. He/she ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit's standards of care. He/she demonstrated performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the unit and organization; remains flexible to changing system; is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice; and treats staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect. Acts as a patient advocate at all times. To assist the primary provider in all professional and clinical procedures. Clinical procedures shall include phlebotomy, performing EKG's, urinalysis, injections, and taking and recording patient vital signs.

The Certified Nurse Assistant is responsible for providing personal care to the residents. Personal care includes assistance with meals, dressing, movement, and bathing. Diagnostic Imaging Administrative Director

Description

This position will coordinate a wide variety of administrative, fiscal and technical activities to ensure efficient operation of the hospital diagnostic imaging department.  But wait there's more, if you act now we will double the offer, the Imaging Director will also be the Director of Imaging for Unity Point Health Hospital in Keokuk, Iowa.  This position will oversee the successful operation of both hospital's Diagnostic Imaging Departments.

The successful candidate will possess very good leadership and communication skills.  Previous successful management and leadership experience a must.  The director will manage the working lives of 15+ Imaging Department employees.

Additional required skills include financial and business acumen, vendor contract negotiations and budget preparation.

  • Prepare meal items as ordered or directed that are safe, nutritious, of appropriate temperature and according to therapeutic diet guidelines.
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work area and equipment. Completes assigned cleaning in a timely manner.
  • Clean and sanitize dishes and utensils.
  • Completes temperature checks and records on daily log sheet.
  • Plans and prepares entrees for cafeteria patrons and special events.
  • Wait on customers in the cafeteria as needed.

Description

Responsible for processing claims of all third party payers and private pay patients, both inpatient and outpatient.  Handles correspondence to and from insurance companies regarding submitted claims.  Makes appropriate contacts, by telephone or correspondence, with patients or insureds regarding needed information to accurately bill patient's claim.  Prepares vouchers from Medicare, Medicaid, and TriCare (Champus) for posting to patient accounts.  Must be available to the public, walk-ins and telephone calls, for any inquiries.
