Description
This is a clinical practitioner who participates in providing patient care. He/she is able to implement and evaluate patient care specific to the age of the patient population served from newborn to the elderly. He/she ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit's standards of care. He/she demonstrated performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the unit and organization; remains flexible to changing system; is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice; and treats staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect. Acts as a patient advocate at all times. To assist the primary provider in all professional and clinical procedures. Clinical procedures shall include phlebotomy, performing EKG's, urinalysis, injections, and taking and recording patient vital signs.

Knowledge of the basic principals and practices of effective supervision. Ability to instruct, direct and constructively discipline, and evaluate employees. Ability to remain calm during stressful situations. Ability to maintain favorable public relations. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills. Computer skills.
Description

Responsible for the supervision of clinical employees of the Memorial Medical Clinics. The Clinic Nurse Manager will meet/exceed the organizations goals and objectives related to the day to day operations of the medical clinics. Primary Job Responsibilities: 1. Select, mentor, motivate and direct development and evaluation of the clinical staff. Trains, orients, and evaluates performance and make recommendations for personnel actions of the MMC clinical staff. 2. Plan, organize and direct health services for the MMC locations, insures that goals, objectives and work performed are consistent with standards and quality care is provided to patients. 3. Responsible for the day to day clinical operations including scheduling of the clinical staff to maintain a productive and profitable work day for all of the Memorial Medical Clinic locations. 4. Establishes and tracks quality improvement indicators and other information concerning services and care to insure that resources are available to provide quality services and on-time performance. 5. Devise health related educational programs for clinical and non-clinical staff in collaboration with the Director of Education at Memorial Hospital. 6. Participates in the annual business planning and budget process with responsibility for review and maintenance of clinical expense line items and meeting goals/timelines. 7. Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of health care services. 8. Review charts to evaluate nursing care, identify issues of concern, track trends and report results. 9. Establishes areas of responsibility and assignment with the clinical staff such as ordering and stocking supplies, maintaining the drug logs and sample medication closets, nurse to provider ratio’s and assignment, keeping a uniform medical record with standard nursing abbreviations, notes and forms.

Description
The Certified Nurse Assistant is responsible for providing personal care to the residents. Personal care includes assistance with meals, dressing, movement, and bathing. The CNA follows established facility policies and procedures while providing care and coordinates resident care with other facility personnel and families.

Maternal Newborn Registered Nurse

Description
The Maternal Newborn Registered Nurse is a clinical practitioner who assesses, coordinates, implements and evaluates patient care specific to female patients age menarche to menopause in the ante partum period, labor, delivery, post partum and to newborn infants.

Description

Prepare and serve meals in a sanitary manner to preserve nutritional quality, comply with diet orders and meet the needs of the facility.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare meal items as ordered or directed that are safe, nutritious, of appropriate temperature and according to therapeutic diet guidelines.
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work area and equipment. Completes assigned cleaning in a timely manner.
  • Clean and sanitize dishes and utensils.
  • Completes temperature checks and records on daily log sheet.
  • Plans and prepares entrees for cafeteria patrons and special events.
  • Wait on customers in the cafeteria as needed.
  • Receives, rotates and stores frozen foods in designated areas.

Radiologic Technologist

Respiratory Therapist

Will be on call 1 to 2 evenings per week.

Monday and Wednesday 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Friday 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Would be responsible for daily activities involving respiratory care, EKG's, assisting with stress tests and cardiac/pulmonary rehab.
